Subcutaneous Drug Delivery
Our small, lightweight, and wearable pumps feature enhanced delivery accuracy, occlusion detection, and monitoring compatibility. DEKA’s pump technologies are patented to deliver several different drugs, including Insulin and Remodulin, among others.

Therapeutic Self-Administration
With the simple press of a button, DEKA’s microneedle applicator can be used to self-administer a therapeutic effectively, reliably and with virtually no pain. These dose-sparing applicators can be used with a variety of therapeutics and produce less overall waste than conventional needles.

Dialysis Systems
Since partnering with Baxter on our first dialysis system, DEKA’s technologies have established themselves as the market leader in renal therapies. User-friendly, at-home systems such as the Amia and Kaguya deliver life-saving care to those in need around the entire world. Today, we are still working to perfect and innovate the next generation of dialysis systems.

Regenerative Manufacturing
DEKA is proud to partner with The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) to advance the bioeconomy of the United States. Our technologies focus on the manufacturing of cells, tissues, and organs to usher in a new era of biofabrication.

Mobility Enhancements
The iBOT® 3000 was released in 2002, quickly becoming known as the first stair-climbing wheelchair. Today, the remastered iBOT® PMD boasts more features and better accessibility than ever, and DEKA is constantly working to create the newest and greatest devices using its core technology.

Infusion Systems
DEKA is working on creating infusion systems that are smaller, lighter, and more accurate than ever before. Our AI-driven vision system can monitor and accurately control the flow rate and infusion volume of a gravity infusion, and can work with both clear and opaque fluids. Our proprietary administration set couples with the infusion system to ensure the highest accuracy and quality possible.

Water Purification
Natural disasters continue to cause nationwide shortage in IV Therapies of Normal Saline. DEKA is leveraging its fluidics expertise to create devices that can produce medical-grade water for injection on-site, based on existing technology from the Slingshot device. Cloud-based monitoring can gather and share data in real-time and assess the health of entire fleets.

Autonomous Robotics
Leveraging our expertise into a new competency field, DEKA is now creating the next generation of autonomous robotics. Using existing core technologies from the iBOT®, we have produced vehicles and devices capable of exploring, patrolling, delivering, traveling various terrains, and tackling curbs – all remotely monitored or autonomously.
